NDIS
We provide Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy services to NDIS participants. We see clients who are Plan-managed and Self-managed.
Private Health Insurance
Your private health insurer may offer you a rebate for Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy services. Please contact your insurer to check your level of cover.
Medicare
Your child may be eligible for a referral from your GP for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM). Medicare provides a rebate for 5 sessions
. The Time 2 Talk office has a HICAPS machine so we can process any payments, Private Health claims and Medicare rebates in the office. You can also lodge any claims online.
Travel will be charged depending on the time required to travel to your home/childcare/school and will be divided by the number of children seen in a location/town. Time 2 Talk’s fees are in line with the current NDIS price guide. For an up-to-date price list, please contact us.
Cancellation Policy
At Time 2 Talk we take the time to prepare individually for each client to ensure that we are providing the best possible service for families. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice of changes to, or cancellation of, appointments. A cancellation fee will be charged if this notice is not given.

No, you do not need a referral to attend Time 2 Talk. Parents can ring us on 8391 3336 to make an appointment. A doctor referral is required however, if you wish to claim a rebate through Medicare (dependent on your child's eligibility).

If your cover includes Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy, you are able to claim through your health fund. HICAPS is available at the office for immediate claiming of private health fund benefits. Also, limited rebates for speech pathology services are available through Medicare for specific client groups under a Chronic Disease Management Program (formerly Enhanced Primary Care Plan) or the Helping Children with Autism initiative. Please consult with your GP if you feel your child may qualify for this.

We provide an individual therapy programme for each child. The length of therapy is dependent on the nature of the child’s difficulties and the extent of these difficulties. Following your child’s assessment, recommendations for ongoing intervention will be fully discussed with you.
