Time 2 Talk is a family focused, neurodiversity affirming practice providing occupational therapy and speech pathology services and co-located with a paediatric physio. We are based in Mount Barker, and service families in the Adelaide Hills, Murraylands and Fleurieu regions. About the role:
We're currently taking applications for a new OT to join our team (initially 0.5FTE but with scope to increase hours if desired) to join our fun and enthusiastic team. Our caseload is varied (children up to 18 years). You will have the opportunity to provide individual sessions and group sessions in a wide variety of locations in the community as well as at our clinic.
The role is based at our Mount Barker office and will allow you to provide services within preschools, schools, and home visits. We are all about play-based, child-led experiences, and work in partnership with families and education staff to achieve the best outcome for each child.
What you'll be doing:
Conducting assessments for children with a range of difficulties - sensory processing, self-regulation, fine motor, motor planning, visual perception and executive functioning.
Developing and delivering treatment plans.
Conducting one-on-one therapy sessions that are fun, engaging and evidence based.
Complete necessary progress notes, documentation, and reports for both NDIS and private clients.
Liaise with other professionals e.g., other allied health therapists, doctors, teachers, and work colleagues.
Educating and empowering parents and caregivers to use strategies to support their children's goals outside of therapy sessions.
Essential Criteria:
Recognised university qualification in occupational therapy.
Current registration with the OT Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Working With Children's Check.
Current driver's license and own vehicle.
Proof of completion of Responding to Abuse & Neglect - Education and Care full day training course (or willingness to complete prior to employment).
Completion of the NDIS Online Worker Training Module.
Current First Aid certificate.

Our new OT will be well supported with scheduled clinical and professional supervision each week/ fortnight (dependent upon experience) and regular team meetings and well- being days.
